Eleonora Economides RAD Life Member, RAD RTS, RAD Teaching Dip, LCDD (Dip), AISTD (Tap, Modern)

Eleonora started ballet lessons at the age of 5 with Miss Vivian in South Kenton and later with Miss Moroney in Pinner.   At the age of 17 she gained a scholarship for a 3 year full-time Diploma course at the London College of Dance and Drama.  Here she trained in various dance forms including classical ballet, modern, jazz, tap, contemporary, ballroom and latin, national and classical Greek dance styles.

Eleonora taught RAD ballet and jazz in Italy for two years after completing her teacher training.  After returning to the UK, she started her own school in Wembley and also taught as a free-lance teacher for various establishments in and around London including ILEA in Adult Education.   

Throughout her earlier years of teaching, she danced regularly in shows and musicals in Britain and abroad.  Eleonora has been teaching for over 30 years and regularly attends training and refresher courses at the Royal Academy of Dance.  She has prepared and entered candidates for RAD ballet examinations. She also teaches Dance and Drama full-time at Holland House Preparatory School in Edgware where she has been a member of staff since 1993.

Eleonora continues to enjoy dancing and learning.  She is a ‘Strictly’ fan and has indeed taken up ballroom and latin dancing herself, taking medals tests and competing!

Kathryn Martin BA (Hons), RAD RTS


Kathryn grew up in Manchester and attended dance classes from an early age, completing both graded and vocational exams. After gaining her degree at Royal Holloway, University of London and realising her love of teaching, Kathryn then went on to train at the Royal Academy of Dance for two years, completing the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies course and gaining RAD Registered Teaching Status. She also qualified as a ‘Progressing Ballet Technique’ Teacher, a revolutionary training programme for ballet dancers. She is now a freelance classical ballet teacher for numerous dance studios around London, maintaining an excellent exam result record with all of her students and teaches our Wednesday classes.

Angeline Bell

Angie began her training at a young age, with Eleonora at Eleonora Dance Studios training in Ballet, Tap and Modern dance before winning a scholarship to train full time at The Urdang Academy at the age of 10.

After some years of performing, Angie decided to re-train as a ballet teacher, gaining a distinction in her teaching qualification with the British Ballet Organisation. Angie is proud to have been teaching at Eleonora Dance Studios for the past twelve years, where she started her very own training and is also a full-time teacher at The Urdang Academy in London, one of the top performing arts colleges in the country.

Angie regularly updates her teaching practice, keeping informed of current practices by attending courses at the RAD, BBO and The Royal Ballet School.

Some of Angie’s performance credits include: Dancer in Disney’s Aladdin Feature film (Released in 2019). Dancing with the Kirov Ballet, (Coliseum). Dancer, Les Ballet Negres (Royal Festival Hall). Commercial dancer – Pepsi Tradeshow. Dancer – Music Video, Third Edge. Dancer – Music Video, Romeo (So Solid Crew). Singing with the Laurence Corner Gospel Choir on The Generation Game (BBC), and Blue Peter (BBC). Playing the Role of Ronnie Spector in Leader of The Pack musical (Tour), Playing the Role of Coxy, and Assistant Choreographer/Dance Captain in 1888 The Musical (Union Theatre). Part of Girl Group “Fierce” – several national and international performances to crowds of up to 50,000 people, and performing by personal invitation, for the Sultan of Brunei at his Palace.

Songwriting publishing deal with TCB Group/Virgin. Top 20 hit written for Electro Soul Band Unkle-Jam, String arrangement for Peter Andre on his Unconditional Love Songs Album, for the song Out of my Life. Record deal with Universal/2wo7even, performance of own music at venues such as The Bedford, Hard Rock Café and The Troubadour.

Maria Conneely (Teaching Assistant)


Maria started having ballet lessons with Eleonora at the age of 2 and a half.  She continued to train with Eleonora and gained Distinction for her RAD examinations up to and including Intermediate.  Maria is now training at the Urdang Academy on a  Foundation Course for Dance and Musical Theatre.
